Sodium Stearyl Fumarate is made by esterification of maleic anhydride with octalcohol and then by isomerization into salt. Sodium fumarateSodium Stearyl Fumarate is highly compatible and is not only frequently used in pharmaceutical preparations for tablet lubricant to improve the disadvantages of tablet strength, disintegration and dissolution; 0.5-2.0%; widely used in food and chemical products.
Sodium Stearyl Fumarate is white or white powder with flat spherical particles with a melting point of 224-245℃ (with decomposition). This product is slightly soluble in methanol, almost insoluble in water, ethanol or acetone, and has a strong stability.

Sodium Stearyl Fumarate is a hydrophilic lubricant, it is basically insensitive to the amount and mixing time, different use and mixing time, basically no effect on the tablet compressibility, disintegration and dissolution. Therefore, in some solid preparations, Sodium Stearyl Fumarate is a good substitute for magnesium stearate.
⭐Faster disintegration and dissolution
To the LubristarTMLubricant films disintegrate faster than magnesium stearate as a lubricant.

⭐Outstanding hybrid performance

Compared to magnesium stearate, with LubristarTMDo lubricant film, even in a longer mixing time will not appear lubrication problems, and can get a better hardness.
LubristarTMNot sensitive to the mixing time
⭐Improve compressibility
The slices weighed 500mg, 12mm round flat flush and mixed for 3min.LubristarTMThe prepared films have better mechanical stability.

⭐Good API compatibility
Sodium fumarate is relatively inert and an ideal lubricant for high-speed direct compression, and also accelerates product development and improves the bioavailability of some APIs. At present, the marketed preparations of stearic sodium fumarate are ibuprofen, salicylic acid, group doprel, ramipril, nifedipine, amlodipine, amlodipine, fellodipine, omeprazole, etc.
⭐Have better taste (no metal taste)
⭐ LubristarTMLess sensitive to the increase in the mixing time
⭐ Improve the appearance of the effervescent fluid
In the effervescent tablets, because magnesium stearate is hydrophobic, it will make the surface of the liquid float white insoluble material, affecting the overall appearance and drinking taste. Sodium stearic fumarate improves this kind of problem very well.
